Theres nothing like a good night at Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) to remind you why it is you even have friends.  What a laughfest…

BUT! There is more important news to tend to tonight…

I usually have a pretty strict no cats on the counter policy, especially cats that don’t wear pants, but, you know, theres always an exception to the rule.  So yes, the cat has been finished.  The pattern I used was from knitty.com and I’m not 100% happy with the finished project, but it was a fun little project to use up some yarn, Im’ now officially out of the grey and the pink, I still have that green left, but more than enough to make something good.  Now I guess I have to start thinking of some more ways to use up yarn.

And I know it’s heart breaking, but no Amelia videos today, hopefully I’ll be able to share a few Amelia stories after this weekend,  I have a few gifts for her and she does love her “PREESSSENTS!” so I’ll maybe be able to catch her enjoying them.

I decided I mostly felt like sitting around today after class so I did a lot of work on the cat. It is now stuffed and has arms. I’m working on the legs now. There’ll be some finishing touches after it’s all put together, but it’ll be great, I promise. Here’s a little preview…

It mostly makes me think of those Ugly Dolls, my niece has one, she should love this too then, eh?

Today I also went to student health to have the tell me I don’t have TB and I snapped this picture, is this really what you think of when you think STUDENT! health?

And finally, because even I am bored by this post, here’s another video of Amelia.  She’s a cat. Mostly I like that you can’t tell which cat noise is more annoying, her or the cat. I know several of the people who look at this site only come for Amelia. Look forward to some good posts soon, maybe!

So, I usually spend my weekends at my sister’s house, which is why I like to knit things for my little niece so often. She also does a lot of things to make me laugh. While I am not spending my weekend with her this weekend, I am doing something I also quite enjoy. I’ve spent the last 4 hours sitting in front of the TV, knitting, and watching House M.D. (Thanks again Billy Brown). I’m addicted to the show and have gotten over half the cat done. In addition I have developed a huge crush on Hugh Laurie. mmmmm.

Now that I have this beautiful new website, thanks to the boyfriend, I simply MUST start making some things to put on it.  I have a closet full of yarn, a magazine rack full of yarn, about 10 drawers full of paper and crafting supples, boxes of sewing projects that are half finished.  Theres no shortage of things to do, just shortage of motivation to finish some project I only halfway liked in the first place.

On the bright side I found my beautiful pink pashmina my sister gave me, I’m definitely looking forward to strutting around in that tomorrow.  Stay tuned.
