Flourless Cake and other disasters.
Friday, April 24th, 2009This morning King 5 on Kong (My morning news of choice) played Neil Diamond. I hate Neil Diamond. The Boyfriend told me if Neil were playing in Woodinville we’d buy tickets. Please Neil Diamond, never play Woodinville. Please.
Last night I baked a flourless chocolate cake for my favorite boys of IT (Mostly just Brian Massie who has a soft spot in his heart for my stationary. SWOON.) Just trust me on this one everyone, don’t make flourless chocolate cake. I mean, it doesn’t taste that bad, but, it’s nothing fabulous. You can live your life without it. Bake a big batch of brownies instead. Trust me on this one. Luckily, I have a bat cave full of IT boys who will eat pretty much anything to test my baking on. They eat a lot of food, just don’t tell them that sometimes I bake really good things and just go ahead and eat it myself. Sometimes I think my body craves the extra 10,000 calories.
In other news there is a piece on the news right now about parking in Seattle, the most notable quote is “Parking in Seattle…It’s a battle.” oh and don’t forget “Reporter: Is this big brother? Police Officer: Is it big brother? I’d like to think it’s Little Brother. If you comply with parking regulations you’ve got nothing to worry about, if you don’t, you’re going to be ticketed, and if you don’t pay, you’re going to be impounded”
I love the news here.
So remember this:
Neil Diamond – bad
Flourless Cake – okayish
Brian Massie – awesome
King 5 on Kong – Super Awesome
Parking battle in SEattle – Most awesome
Getting Parking Tickets – Bad
